Our rain policy
When it comes to family photography, maternity photography, and senior photography, there’s always a possibility that there could be rain or inclement weather on the day of your scheduled session.
Read on for our policy on rain and if you’re still concerned about rain spoiling your session, reach out to us right away.
OUR POLICY:
We always try to keep your scheduled session.
We watch the weather and stay in touch if things look bad but if you don’t hear from us before your session, we’re still planning on being there.
If there has been no communication, we arrive at the location of your session and will wait at least 30min for inclement weather to move on. If you’re concerned that rain is going to spoil your photoshoot, please let us know as soon as possible.
Options to deal with rain:

If you want to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. We'll simply keep your initial payment amount and arrange a new date with you at no extra charge.

We don't have an indoor studio but sometimes a session location may be near a sheltered area that we can use to create your photos. We’ve also been known to create photos in our clients’ homes when necessary.

Are you adventurous? Maybe you secretly like the idea of having your photos taken in the rain. While we do have to take care to protect our gear, we've been known to create memorable (light) rain photos before and might be able to create some for you as well!
